Mr. His Chi WU is an artist who defies convention and constantly pursues innovation. His works break free from formulaic patterns and rigid rules, characterized by originality and a dynamic sense of contrast. The distinctiveness of his creations stems from his personal background and academic journey. Originally trained in civil engineering—with its structured blueprints and logical thinking—he made the bold decision in his thirties to leave his engineering career behind and fully devote himself to the world of art.

Unburdened by traditional constraints or market-driven expectations, His Chi WU’s creative vision may appear dreamlike or illusory, yet it remains deeply connected to contemporary issues and lived realities. At times, it even anticipates the possibilities of the future. His imaginative, free-spirited approach not only challenges the viewer’s perception but also reveals a singular aesthetic value.

吳照吉先生是一位不墨守成規，力求創新的藝術家，他的作品突破窠臼，不循規蹈矩，充滿了原創性與衝突性。創作之所以迥然不同，源自於他的成長背景和求學過程，原本所學是土木工程的制式圖面與邏輯思考教育，卻因為對藝術的熱愛與興趣，毅然決然地在而立之年放棄了工程事業，專心投入藝術創作的領域，少了傳統觀念的保守束縛，沒有市場導向的創作包袱，吳熙吉先生的創作理念看似虛幻不實 ，卻又不悖離當代議題與生活現狀，甚至預見未來的各種可能性，天馬行空的藝術創作更凸顯了獨特的美學價值。
