“Light” exists in nature, but more importantly, it is the power of the soul.
Light nourishes life and also illuminates the darkest corners of the human spirit.
The artist Ran Hill, known for his warm and heartfelt creations, serendipitously began developing the character “Light Deer” six years ago. Over time, this gentle creature evolved—from a faint glimmer of hope wandering through darkness to the radiant, bold presence seen in recent works. As Ran Hill’s artistic expression has grown more daring and vibrant in color, Light Deer has firmly taken root in the hearts of many, quietly sowing seeds of hope and walking beside us as we grow, day by day.

Prelude
One day, while watering plants with his child in the garden, Ran Hill witnessed the sunset nearing its end—its glow like the final flicker of a candle. In that moment, the sun’s dying light caught the spray of water from the hose, and suddenly, a rainbow leapt forth! Together with his child, they gasped in delight and cheered. It was then that Ran Hill came to a quiet realization—that the rainbow, which he had always imagined as something distant and rare, suspended in the sky and only visible under just the right conditions, had been right there beside him all along. Wherever there is a rainbow, there is light—and the kind of light that brings hope can call forth a rainbow at any time.

具有溫暖特質的藝術家-海至，因緣際會下創作「光鹿」角色已邁入六年，「光鹿」隨著時 光轉換，從穿梭在黑暗裡微弱的希望之光，到近年來作品勇於突破、色彩逐漸明亮，「光鹿」 已深植在每個人心中，並種下希望的種子，慢慢地陪著大家成長每一天。

海至某次與孩子在花園中澆水，此時夕陽即將西落，像是燭光殆盡的反噬;夕陽的餘暉，奮力 一搏的綻放在孩子手中的花灑上，在大量噴出的水花中，躍出了一道彩虹!與孩子一起驚喜、 大聲歡呼的當下，海至也在片刻領悟到 -印象中應該高掛在空中、而總是想著要多少機緣促 成、才能一睹為人們帶來幸福感的彩虹，原來一直都那麼簡單的存在身邊!只要彩虹在的地方 就有光!而帶給人希望的光可以把彩虹呼喚出來!
